This is the first animation in a sequence commissioned by MUMC+ (Maastricht University Medical Centre+), which is a partnership between Maastricht University Hospital and Maastricht University's Faculty of Health, Medicine & Life Sciences. The clients required an animation illustrating how both parties contribute to the "Healthier life" of the patients at Maastricht University Hospital. The animation demonstrates how combining research, education, and care results in innovative treatments and improved patient outcomes, emphasizing that providing the best care is a collaborative effort among students, researchers, hospital personnel, and partner hospitals both nationally and internationally.
During this project I had the opportunity to work together with the graphics department of MUMC+, discussing various topics at hand and learning a lot of valuable information about patient communication and the hospital's workflow and internal structure.
This project taught me a great deal about storyboarding, illustrating, compositing, and animation, and how these elements come together. I’m excited to continue collaborating with MUMC+ and work together on the upcoming scheduled animations.
